One of my all-time favorites at the Easter table is pickled eggs. They are so unbelievably beautiful and they get a good taste from the beetroot.

I usually top with seasoned eggs with a mixture of mayonnaise and sour cream, thin slices of radish and chopped chives.

If you want color on the Easter table, pickled eggs are a must. So nice and easy!

French Potato Salad is a very simple and fresh salad that is perfect for an Easter meal. It is made with a fresh sauce of potatoes, parsley, dill, shallots, capers and Dijon mustard.

It is also a popular dish when it comes to Easter meals, great to eat with cooked salmon.

Skagenröra is a classic that is eaten in spring and summer. It is delicious, fresh and also easy to make at home.

I always serve homemade skagen puree to my Easter table. Good to eat with freshly baked rose bread.

The pie is decorated with leaf spinach, asparagus, smoked salmon and half of eggs (preferably pickled eggs for a beautiful and Easter look).

Cooked salmon is a classic on the buffet table because it is great served cold. The salmon is cooked in a home cooker, and it only takes 1 hour and 15 minutes to cook it.

This is a nice and simple dish for an Easter lunch or Easter buffet.

If you love herring, making a herring cake is a must. The base of the herring cake dough and the food are filled with herring leaves, red onion, sour cream, crème fraiche and gelatin.

The cake is seasoned with salt, pepper and herring hoe for added flavor, and topped with chopped chives and thin slices of red onion.

Rosenbrod is a classic bread for the Easter table. Partly because they are beautiful, but also because they are awesome.

I like to split the buns and add a layer of salmon or skagen puree. yum!

If you want to replace the skagen puree, you can try making salmon puree. It’s a similar mess made with smoked salmon, red onion, leek, crme frache, mayo, chives and dill.

Salt, pepper and freshly squeezed lemon juice also contribute to good taste.

Another herring classic on the Easter table is the old man’s mash. Elderly people’s mash is usually made from anchovies, but in my recipe I use diced edible anchovies.

In addition to the herring, I add chopped red onion, egg, crme fraiche, mayonnaise, dill, chives and salt.

Easter food is typical food served and eaten during the Easter weekend. In Sweden, there is usually an Easter buffet with different dishes.

Easter meals vary greatly depending on where you are in Sweden. In any case, classics that are also served on the Christmas table are Jenson’s tempting egg halves, meatballs, prince sausage, herring, salmon and butler sauce.
